CRO-SCULPTURE (CAT TOY) CROCHET PATTERNS

Cro-Sculpture patterns are whimsical designs that are the 'Practical Solution' to all of those odds and ends of thread in the closet. In particular, these patterns are based on SBCrochet's line of World's Greatest Cat Toys. So if you'd just rather purchase the ready-made toys, click the link. These patterns are based on the tradition crochet 'babel.' (I haven't figured a way to translate symbols into 3-D yet.) The numbered steps are accompanied by photo illustrations. They come printed on laminated 8-1/2" by 5-1/2" pages and are spiral-bound so they can be combined with future issues. For more pictures of the toys, just click on the picture. Yarn/catnip amounts required are approximate, erring on the high side. Related supplies can be found below the pattern listings. These Toys Make Great Gifts and are Great Flea Market Sellers!

CRO-SCULPTURE PATTERN SUPPLIES ARE LISTED AT THE END OF THIS PAGE.
NOTE: Toys with bells are Not recommended for young kittens and dogs. They don't play, they chew (and needless to say, keep bells away from young children); the bells might pose a choking hazard. For small kittens and/or dogs, we recommend not adding the bell(s). You can substitute with yarn fring(es), if you like.

As stated, this project was started with the intention of making 'practical' use of leftover yarn; but just in case, here is your Hotlink to Quality and Inexpensive Sport-Weight Yarn at JoAnn's. (Red Heart yarn is fantastic for these projects, extremely inexpensive, and often on sale. If you want to search for some other kind of yarn, just delete and retype the text in the box.)
